SALIENT PERFORMANCES
What I've Done

Participated in so many Workshops, Lectures-Demonstrations and Seminars in different cities of India from Chennai to Kolkata via Mumbai, Panaji (Goa), Hariana, Punjab(Hisar), Sikkim, Manipur, Delhi, Assam, Bhubaneshwar, Purulia (West –Bengal), Patna, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Etc. organized by different N.G.Os and State Governments of India.
Participated in so many festivals, Ustasv’s all over India in many cities i.e Kolkata, Ranchi, Bhubaneshwar, Bangalore, Chennai, Sikkim, Tripura, Assam, Manipur, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Panaji (Goa) Himachal Pradesh (Kullu & Manali), Mysore, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Siligudi, Konark Festival, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharahtra, Jamshedpur, etc organized by EZCC, NZCC, SNA, NCPA, ICCR, IFA, different NGO’s and through other State Governments of India. I have also performed in different Youth Festival of various States of India.
So many Chhau documentaries have been telecasted on different channels like Surabhi, ETV Bihar ( Episode of “Hasti Ke Sang Masti”), Z-News, Doordarshan, Sahara, Mumbai Doordarshan, etc. A series named “Chhau – Seraikella ki Ek Anmol Kala” was being aired for 30 minutes under my guidance on 22/03/2004 at 6:15PM on Prasar Bharti, AIR – Jamshedpur. Time to Time many small talks are aired through All India Radio.
Presented "Festival of India” in France as a Star Dancer in the year 1985-86 and Represented Cultural Exchange Program in Malaysia, Indonesia, South-Korea with Guru, K.N. Sahu organized by I.C.C.R - New Delhi.
Presented Chhau Balley (1 hr.) New Choreography- "Shrishti" (Creation) at Rangparampara (Traditional Theatre Festival ) under N.C.E.P , Baba Saheb Ambedkar Marathwada University , Aurangabad, Maharashtra on March-2009.
The Artists of Govt. Chhau Dance centre, Seraikella -Participated on the occasion of Youth Festival in the year 2013-14 & 2011-15 organized by Dept. of Art Culture Govt. of Jharkhand under my Guidance and Presented Seraikella Chhau is Classical Category dance Competition of Ranchi and win 1st & 2nd prize.
I became the Selector of Scholarship Selection Committee Member of CCRT, New Delhi in 2015-16.
I had presented my Choreography – Chhau Balley on Shrithi (Creation) –Manav aur Prakriti ki Gatha at Rang Parampara at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Marath Vada University, Aurangabaad, Maharashtra and Droupadi- (Message- Never to repeat it again) on Jaya Utsav, New Delhi organized by Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, New Delhi. One of my Chhau Balley –Jharkhand Ke Yug Purush –Bhagwan Birsa Munda got the 1st Prize in State level Dance Competition held on the occasion of Establishment Day of Jharkhand (Sthapna Divas) in 2015. While performing Chhau in 2014 & at Youth Festival, Ranchi organized by Dept. of Culture, Govt. of Jharkhand won both 1st & 2nd Prize.
Presently Conducting training of Chhau dance, its movements, techniques etc. to students of present generation of Govt. Chhau dance centre, Seraikella, Manbhum Chhau at Nimdih, Silli(Ranchi), Kharsawan Chhau at Kharsawan,Kolhan division and all Jharkhand, and border area of Odisha-Bengal. Rendering continuously services to Rural based artists (ST/SC/OBC) for promotion and presentation of cultural heritage of Chhau in Jharkhand, and border area of Odisha and Bengal.
I got very good opportunity to perform Chhau Dance before some high dignities of Inida such as Srimati Indira Gandhi (Former PM of India), R. Venkatraman (Former President & Vice-President), Sitaram Keshri (Former Minister of India), Bindheswari Dubey (Former CM of Bihar), Jyoti Basu (Former CM of Bengal), P.V. Narshimmah Rao (Former PM of India), Dr. Hamid Ansari (Former Vice-President of India), Sibu Soren (Former CM of Jharkhand), Sri Choudhuri Mohan Jatia (Former Information & Broadcasting Minister), Arjun Munda (Former CM of Jharkhand), CM of Himachal Pradesh, Venkaiah Naidu (Vice-President of India),and many more.
